Plans

A big and bold vision.

The restoration of 2-4 Market Place is one that has been carefully considered and curated, with the future use of the buildings tailored to meet the demands of the community surrounding it.

Neil Castle, company secretary of the CDCT, explains: “Our mission, not only with 2-4 Market Place but certainly with this project acting as a catalyst, is to improve the economic sustainability of our historic market town. Caistor has seen a recent boom in businesses, both up-scaling and taking up vacant units, so to be able to further add to this enterprise by providing opportunities for community activities, social space and to help bring additional tourism to the town is incredibly important to us as a Trust. The diverse and vibrant mixed-use development scheme will include the repair and conservation of the complex of historic buildings, transforming 2-4 Market Place into a space the whole community can be proud of and embrace as their own.”

Discover exactly how this complex nest of buildings will be transformed over the coming months and explore the plans below:

Ground Floor

A multi-purpose space with a mixture of retail, leisure, catering and workshops, opening out into a stunning courtyard.

First floor

The first floor provides a mixture of holiday lets and bookable community space, all accessible via a lift.

Second Floor

Continuation of the holiday lets, with stunning views over the Market Place and over to Nettleton top.
