A multi-year project for generations to come

The 2-4 Market Place, Caistor project began way back in 2016, when talks first began, with Phase One plans due to be completed in early 2026.

Early 2026

Principal Contractor, Messenger, starts site preparation.

Jan - March 2024

Awaiting the outcome of the Community Ownership Fund Grant. Grant awarded end April 2024. Revised phasing of project to accommodate higher construction cost. No 9 High Street and The Old Granary will be completed in a second phase of works. All external works on these two parts of the building to be completed.

Dec 2023

Revised funding model agreed with higher grant applied for Community Ownership Fund through Dept. of Leveling Up. No longer taking a Public Works Land Board Loan through Caistor Town Council
