As part of our Heritage Open Days activity, we’re inviting local businesses and parties interested in the retail units to take a first look inside the new spaces coming soon to 2–4 Market Place. These dedicated hard hat tours on Sunday, 14th September, are ideal for those interested in renting retail, office, café, or creative space within this newly regenerated Caistor landmark. This is a unique opportunity to view the available units ahead of opening, see how the project is progressing, and ask any practical questions about tenancy, fit-out, and future plans.

Step inside 2-4 for the first time
Led by a member of the project team, these short guided tours will walk attendees through the interconnected buildings that form 2–4 Market Place, including the future café/retail spaces, The Old Granary, courtyard area, and additional units being developed for workspace and holiday let use. There will be plenty of opportunities to explore, ask questions, and visualise how your business could fit into the exciting future of this historic site.
Important information: Please note that all guided tours at 2–4 Market Place will take place on an operational building site.
To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort while visiting:
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided, including a hard hat and high-vis vest.
- Visitors must wear suitable clothing – no loose, floaty items (e.g. long skirts or scarves) that could catch on scaffolding or materials.
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required. Strictly no sandals, flip flops or high heels.
The building is still under construction, so expect:
- Uneven floors
- Loose floorboards
- Low ceilings and beams
- Stairs and scaffolded areas
- Construction materials and equipment on-site
Your tour guide will brief you before entering, but please remain aware of your surroundings and follow all safety instructions.
